I fell in love with hypnotherapy in the late 1990's. I appreciated it's efficiency to resolve so many problems that could otherwise take years to resolve, and I found it absolutely fascinating for so many reasons. Now, almost 30 years later, I continue to find it fascinating and useful and I love working with it to help people improve their lives.
I am a Certified Hypnotherapist C.H., and also carry a Diploma in Hypnotherapy D.Hyp., as well as the prestigious Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma., HPD (NCH).
I received my initial training through the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), based in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. The NGH is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected hypnotherapy certifying bodies in the world. My training was delivered by Michael Hathaway, who is a Board Certified Fellow of the NGH; has a doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy; and is Director of The White Mountain Hypnosis Center in Madison, New Hampshire, U.S.A. This training had a lovely lean towards Ericksonian and Conversational Hypnotherapy, and formally introduced me to Neuro Linguistic Programming,

Later, I completed further developmental training in the form of a world leading diploma course, in London, UK, led by Dr Kate Beaven-Marks who created HypnoTC, The Hypnotherapy Training Company, which served to refresh my knowledge and also teach me many new and enhanced skills. This course was incredibly comprehensive and it has been exciting incorporating these newly acquired and brilliantly taught expertise into my already thorough practices.
This course also laid the groundwork for me to complete the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma which has been accredited by NCFE as having measurable learning outcomes that have been benchmarked at Level 4 (using Ofqual’s Qualification and Credit Framework [QCF] level descriptors). Completion of this Diploma also allowed me to register with the Complementary & Natural Health Council (CHNC) having met the National Occupational Standards of training required as a hypnotherapist
On both sides of the pond, I was schooled in Behavioural, Cognitive, Analytical, and Regressional Hypnotherapy and other kinds too,

In addition, I have studied a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health and minors in Sociology and Philosophy, during which I was initiated into two honours societies with highest honours.
Further relevant training includes Basic and Advanced Trainings with Jack Canfield who is author of The Success Principles; co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series; star of the film The Secret; and motivational speaker, corporate trainer and highly successful entrepreneur. Time spent with Jack and others met during those courses elevated my understanding of motivation; the impact of self esteem on our lives and how to enhance it; and the many other principles of success to a higher level. Many of these understandings are integrated into my work with my clients.

As a result of my training combined with my own core values, I have come to care very deeply about relieving stress and implementing relaxation into the lives of as many people as I can possibly reach. Consequently, I devote a lot of my hypnotherapy practice to this one concept and it will likely feature in any session, regardless of the purpose of the session.
Equally as important I believe, I focus on elevating self esteem and resilience, where necessary; hypnosis is a magnificent tool for achieving this.
I do also use hypnosis for a vast array of other needs, including weight management; sleep problems; enhancing performance at work, school and in sports; nail-biting; sexual dysfunction; and much more.
Do feel free to ask me if hypnosis can help with your challenge because odds are, it can. And if I can't help, I can refer to someone who can.
Learning about hypnotherapy and applying it to help people live brighter lives is both a joy and an honour for me and the mandatory continued education is always a pleasure and never a chore. Indeed, in order to maintain my standing with the professional bodies I am affiliated with and to develop my career, continued education is paramount.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
